1. Information only

The Site describes SpEd Insight™ and shares general information about Texas special education, HB 2 and PEIMS. It is general information, not legal, compliance or funding advice, and it is no substitute for TEA guidance, your district's policies or your ARD committee's decisions. Laws and TEA guidance change; check the official sources we link to. The Site has no accounts. You can contact us through our form (see our Privacy notice) or email us at james@spedinsight.com. Using the SpEd Insight™ product requires a separate written agreement with your district.

Nothing on this Site is a substitute for the advice of an attorney.

2. Please don't send student information

Don't email us, or put in our form, student names or other student information. Demos use made-up students.

The Site's text, images, screenshots and design belong to Foresight Education Technologies, LLC or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own non-commercial use, or share links to them. Please don't copy, change or republish the Site without our written permission. SpEd Insight™ is a trademark of Foresight Education Technologies, LLC. Other names, such as TEA, Google, Microsoft, AWS and Frontline, belong to their owners and are used only to describe our product or link to sources. Their use does not mean they endorse us, sponsor us or are connected with us.

We link to sites we don't control, such as TEA and Education Service Centers. We aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Don't try to disrupt, overload, probe or break into the Site, and don't use it to break the law.

6. NO WARRANTIES

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. This section covers only the free public Site. Your district's agreement governs the product.

8. Texas law and venue

Texas law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Denton County, Texas, unless the law requires otherwise. Nothing in these terms waives any immunity a Texas public entity has.
